With this trip you are able to see the most remote and picturesque natural and historical sights and nomadic Mongolians lifestyle and culture.

Day 1. Arrival Day.

Transfer to Hotel. City tour in the afternoon, including: Sukhbaatar square, National Historical Museum, Gandan Monastery, Zaisan hill and Traditional Cultual Show. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2. UB – Hustai National Park – Kharkhorum /Ancient Mongolian Capital/ 

After breakfast in the morning we move to the Hustai National Park, which is famous about its wildlife such as elk, marmot wolf, different types of birds and wild horse the Takhi /Prezhewalski Horse/ etc.    

In the afternoon we move to ancient Mongolian Capital called Kharkhorum/Kharkhorin in modern language/ and see the Erdene-Zuu monastery the famous one from middle age and Orkhon Valley Cultural  Landscape. Overnight in camp/Tent.

Day 3. Ongi Monastery

Today we travel to Ongi monastery and Ongi River Valley memorial site. The Monastery was established by Khutagt lama Ishdonilkhundev and his student Damtsagdorj and there were 28 temples and approximately one thousand lamas lived in the monastery. A large number of ruins, including a tall stupa can be seen on the river and in the surrounding hills. It has a commemorative plaque indicating the names of the monks who were killed in 1939. There is an ancient “Shaazan City” ruin, which was the craftsmen city of Yuan Dynasty/1271-1368/ near the Ongiyn Khiid monastery. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 4. Bayanzag-Flaming Cliff

We’ll travel see a dinosaur signs in Bayanzag /The Flaming Cliff/, the first dinosaur eggs were found here by Roy Chapman Andrews the paleontologist from USA in 1924. Also, you are possible to see the enchanting sunset in the Gobi and could capture great photos. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 5. Khongoriyn Sand Dunes

As the sun rises, we start our trip to Khongoriyn Sand Dunes the biggest sand dune of Mongolia. Here you will recognize how  Mongolian Gobi is big and wide and emptiness. Road type is kind of hard, but our 4wd Cruisers will overcome it easily. Overnight in ger.

Day 6. Khongoriyn Sand Dunes-Rest day

You can make your day to challenge yourself with climbing the Singing Dune /Duut Mankhan/ of Khongoriyn Sand dunes. At the top of the dunes you can find peace and hear the voice of singing sand in the wind, and would be a suitable place to meditate. Overnight in camp.

Day 7. Bayangobi.

Travel to Bayngobi soum of Bayankhongor province. The Byangobi village is located in front of Ikh Bogd and Jaran Bogd mountains. There are other mountains named Arts Bogd and Baga Bogd on the east side, these mountains are the end of  the Gobi Altay Mountain Range. The Ikh Bogd is the highest peak of the Altay Mountain range that measuring 3957m above sea level. We are able to see these beautiful high mountains on the way to Bayangobi village and camping nearby the it. Overnight in tent.

Day 8. Bayan-Undur

Travel to Bayan-Undur soum of Bayankhongor province. Here we will see some natural incredible creations, these are the caves called Chihen/ Ear/ and Ikh/great/ caves in Chikhen mountain. The cave is 9.5 meters deep, 5 meters wide and 2 meters high. Since 1995, the joint Expedition of Mongolia and Russia is still being researched the cave and finds a numerous fossil belongs to Stone Age and the sign of a human being. Scientists confirmed that 4 layers of human signs from different periods.

And another old monastery named  Amarbuyant was found in 1697, is close from the village. Overnight in tent.

Day 9. Eej Khairkhan Mountain.

Today we travel to Eej Khairkhan mountain of Gobi Altay province. Which is the lonely mountain in the steppe with giant rocks and lies in the depression surrounded by sandy area. It’s famous about its incredible shaped rocks and caves and unexplained tales by local people. There are some rare animal listed in a red book of Mongolia such as Argali sheep, ibex and snow leopard. The mountain was protected in 1992 and preserved as a National Park. Overnight in tent.

Day 10. Bugat.

Travel to Bugat soum. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 11. Togrog-Tonhil-Sutay mountain

Travel to Sutay Mountain. The Sutai Khairkhan mountain is a beautiful eternal snow capped mountain which lies in the areas of Tonhil, Darvi and Zereg soums for around 60 km. The highest peak Tsast Bogd is 4234 meters above sea level. There is a Ikh Ovoo/idol of Mongolians/ at the hillside of Sutai that protected by the state as a holy idol then proved to make a offering ceremony annually. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 12. Mankhan.

Trekking to Khoit Tsenkheryin Cave. The Khoid Tsenkher cave is one of the biggest in Mongolia and  famous for its rock arts and is wonderful domestic and international tourist destination. It’s 20 meters high, created by grey carbonate rocks. There are many signs of human being were found  in this cave, such as fire spot and wall paintings, rock scripts. Some scripts belong to 40 years ago. The Khoit Tsenkheriyn Cave historical site was registered in the world heritage of culture in 1996.  Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 13. Khovd City

Travel to Khovd City. The Khovd is one of the oldest city in Mongolia , aged around 240 years. It is famous about its old Cottonwoods that’s over 200 years old and fresh watermelon. Also, it is well known about its multi-nationals. There are 17 different tribes live in Khovd, Zakhchin, Dorvod, Myangad, Khoton. Uriankhai, Kazakh, Torguud, Uuld etc. Each of them have slightly different traditional culture and dressings. Otherwise, which is one of the bigger parts for traditional Mongolian folk art and dance.  Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 14. Dorgon – Khar Lake 

Travel to Khar lake through Dorgon village.  The Khar lake is one of the bigger lakes in Mongolia. It is 26 km wide 72 km long and 1153 square km big, average depth is 2, maximum is 4.4 meters. The surrounding area of the lake includes types of nature zones as desert steppe, semi desert. Even it is smaller lake it has over 10 islands, the biggest is around 30 km long, 272 meter above  the lake surface, called Agshab. Overnight in tent.

 Day 15. Hyargas Lake 

Travel to Khetsuu Khad of Khyargas Lake. The Hetsuu Khad is one of the attracting sights in Uvs Province. It is 20 meters high cliff that continues for 7 km. Some parts of the cliffs are separated from the bank like an island, which is comfortable to build a nest for birds. If you interested in birds and its life, this is the right place to know. Fish species like Grayling, bigmouth Osman and yellow Bass live in the lake. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 16. Songino.

Travel to Songino soum of Zawkhan province. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 17. Shine-Ider 

Travel to Shine-Ider soum of Khovsgol province. The region is mostly mountainous and covered with forest. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 18. Uushgiin Uvur

The complex deer stone and khirgisuur cultural site located in the 18 km west from Moron center of Khovsgol province. There are about 30 deer stones , the deer are highly stylized and sophisticated with the background treated with dark red ochre. Sometimes a hunter’s weapons as knife, arch and arrow, mirror and shield are portrayed on the deer stones.  Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 19. Khovsgol Lake

Travel to Khovsgol Lake National park. This national park is well known about its crystal clear Khovsgol Lake which is the second biggest freshwater lake in the world and it contains around 1 percent of the world freshwater. The lake is 136 km long and about 40 km wide and surrounded by beautiful larch and pine trees. Only, here we can take a picture with reindeers and yaks. There are many tourist camps and they run a lot of interesting activities for tourists. Overnight in camp.

Day 20. Khovsgol Lake-Rest day

Today we’ll stay at the camp all day and rest. You can manage your day as you wish. Here are the ideas of things to do: horse riding, jet boat, hiking, visiting nomads family, swimming and tasting traditional foods and other activities are available for your interest. Overnight at camp.

Day 21. Khutag-Undur

Today we drive to Khutag-Undur soum of Bulgan Province for 340 km by paved road. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 22. Amarbayasgalant Monastery

Travel to Amarbaysgalant monastery. The monastery was built in early 18th Century, which was dedicated to St.Zanabazar the first Bogd of Mongolia. It is considered that there were over 6000 monks lived in 50 temples.  Unfortunately, it was destroyed by communists during the Great Revolution in 1930s. In 1944, the monastery was protected by the state and rebuilt.. Overnight in camp/tent.

Day 23. Ulaanbaatar

Travel to Ulaanbaatar early in the morning and arriving in the afternoon. Go for shopping to buy some cashmere and souvenirs. Mongolian cashmere products are getting very famous in the world market with its best quality and price. Overnight in hotel.

Day 24. Departure.
