Riding a Mongolian horse is a different experience compared to any other horse, and our friendly horse trekking guides will show you around their homeland, including the beautiful Darkhad Valley, Khoridol Saridag SPA, and Khovsgol Lake National Park. The journey is physically demanding, but you will feel fully energized and refreshed by the end of it.

Day 1. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar

The adventure begins with a city tour of Ulaanbaatar, including visits to Chinggis Square, the National Historical Museum, Gandan Monastery, Zaisan Hill, and a Traditional Cultural Show. Dinner at a restaurant follows, and you’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 2. Ulaanbaatar-Moron /flight/

Take an early morning flight to the Moron city of Khovsgol province, where you can buy sweets and other supplies for the horse trekking. After 1.5 hours of flight, we arrive in Moron at lunchtime. From there, we drive for another 3 hours to reach Khovsgol Lake and settle into the camp, preparing for tomorrow’s hike. You’ll spend the night in a cozy campsite.

Day 3-12 Horse Trekking

We embark on our horse trekking adventure through the Khovsgol Lake National Park, Darkhad Valley, and Khoridol Saridag SPA of Mongolia. During the trip, our highly experienced team will take care of your convenience, and our professional chef will serve all types of scrumptious meals while our skillful guide leads the way. We generally ride for 15-20 km a day and sleep in tents at night. For the first 3 days, we ride along the lake before heading west through the mountains. After a week, we arrive at the village of Renchinlhumbe, located in Darkhad Valley. The second half of the ride takes us through the mountains of Horidol Saridag. The untouched nature of Khoridol Saridag is awe-inspiring and will leave every traveler fascinated.

Day 13. End of Horse Riding – Return to Camp

The end of the thrilling 17 days of horse riding in Mongolia tour, and it’s time to bid farewell to our horse guides before returning to the camp. To mark the end of our journey, we’ll gather around a cozy bonfire in the evening, sing some songs, and celebrate our adventure. We’ll spend the night at the camp, reminiscing about the exciting experiences we’ve had over the past few days.

Day 14. Free day at the lake

Today is a leisurely day spent at the camp, where you can indulge in activities of your choice. There are plenty of things to do, including horse trekking, jet boating, hiking, visiting nomadic families, swimming, and savoring traditional foods. Take your pick and make the most of your day. We’ll retire to our tents to rest after a fun-filled day.

Day 15. Moron-Ulaanbaatar /flight/

Head to Moron after breakfast and take a flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Our coach will be waiting for us when we arrive at the airport. After having lunch in the afternoon, we’ll check in to our hotel and freshen up. In the evening, we’ll head out for dinner at a local restaurant before retiring to our rooms for the night.

Day 16. Exploring Gorkhi Terelj National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring the Terelj National Park, renowned for its awe-inspiring natural creations like the giant Turtle Rock, 100 monks cave and the magnificent Ariyabal monastery. The park boasts towering mountains, gigantic rocks, and lush greenery. Later in the day, we’ll continue our journey to Chinggis Khaan’s Statue Complex, where you can take your memorable pictures with the man of the millennium. Before dinner, we’ll enjoy a traditional cultural show, and you can shop for some cashmere and souvenirs. Overnight in hotel.

Day 17. Departure Day

At the end of our adventure, we’ll transfer to the airport for our onward journeys.
