Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar

Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and driver at the airport. After some rest, we will begin our city tour, visiting iconic landmarks like Sukhbaatar Square, the National Historical Museum, Gandan Monastery, Bogd Khan Winter Palace Museum, and the Zaisan Hill Memorial statue. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Mongolian National Art Concert at the drama theater, followed by a delicious dinner at a renowned Mongolian buffet restaurant.

Day 2: Fly to Moron – Ulaan-Uul Village

After breakfast, we will fly to Moron, where a local driver will pick us up. After lunch and shopping for supplies, we will travel north towards Ulaan-Uul soum. On the way, we will visit a traditional nomadic family, offering an opportunity to connect with Mongolia’s rural culture. We will camp under the starry sky tonight, enjoying the serenity of the open wilderness.

Day 3: Ulaan-Uul Village

We continue our journey toward Ulaan-Uul soum, navigating rocky and sometimes muddy paths that add to the adventure. The landscape is stunning and makes the ride worthwhile. Upon arrival in Ulaan-Uul, we will visit a local nomadic family. This is a chance to learn more about their way of life and interact with the locals. Spend the night in a traditional ger or tent.

Day 4: Tsagaan Nuur Village – Taiga Edge

We will drive to Tsagaan Nuur village, located at the edge of the Taiga region, home to the famous Tsaatan reindeer herders. Here, we will stock up on supplies before venturing deeper into the Taiga. You will meet your horse guide, a member of the Tsaatan community, and visit their family to learn more about their traditional reindeer herding lifestyle. Tonight, we will camp surrounded by the pristine beauty of the Taiga.

Day 5: Horse Trekking to the Reindeer Herders’ Family

Today begins with a horse trek into the heart of the Tsaatan community. Your guide and a horse guide will lead you through swampy trails, offering spectacular views of the Taiga. After a long day of riding, we will reach the Tsaatan tribe, where you will spend the night in a traditional tent. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in their way of life.

Days 6-7: Immersion with the Reindeer Herders’ Family

Day 10: Khovsgol Lake

Today, we arrive at the beautiful Khovsgol Lake, where you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the serenity. You can engage in activities like hiking, photography, or perhaps even a boat ride across the lake. We will camp by the lake, allowing you to fully experience this natural wonder.

Day 11: Moron – Return to Ulaanbaatar

After a peaceful morning at Khovsgol Lake, we return to Moron for our flight back to Ulaanbaatar. You will have the opportunity to shop for local souvenirs, including high-quality cashmere products. Spend your final night in a comfortable hotel.
