Day 1. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar.

The tour will begin with your arrival in Ulaanbaatar, where you will be picked up by our friendly guide and driver at the airport. After resting for a few hours, we will embark on a city tour, visiting historical sites such as Sukhbaatar Square, the National Historical Museum, Gandan Monastery, Bogd Khan Winter Palace Museum, and the Zaisan Hill Memorial statue. In the evening, we will enjoy a Mongolian Traditional Folk concert at the Drama Theater followed by a delicious dinner in the Special Mongolian Buffet Restaurant. You will spend the night in a cozy hotel.

Day 2. Fly to Moron – Ulaan-Uul village

The next day, we will fly to Moron, where another local driver with a 4WD vehicle will pick us up. After lunch and shopping for food and other supplies, we will head north towards Ulaan-Uul soum. We will sleep in a tent under the vast starry sky on our way there. Our guide will also have a role to cook during the trip.

Day 3. Ulaan Uul village

We will wake up in the beautiful countryside and continue our journey to Ulaan-Uul soum. The road conditions are rocky and sometimes muddy after a long day of rain, but the stunning scenery will make up for the bumpy ride. In the late afternoon, we will reach Ulaan-Uul soum, where we will visit one of our local nomad families and stay overnight. You can ask the friendly family members anything you want, and they will be happy to share their stories with you. You will spend the night in a traditional ger or tent.

Day 4. Tsagaan Nuur village – Taiga edge

Drive to the next village called Tsagaan Nuur, which is famous for its Taiga region and Tsaatan (reindeer herders) tribe. Here, we will stock up on food and fuel and head towards the edge of the Taiga region, where we will see our horse guide and visit their family. They are also part of the Tsaatan community, and you will spend the night in a tent.

Day 5. Horse Trekking – Reindeer Herders Family

The fifth day is when the real adventure tour to Taiga begins. We will start our horse trek to the Tsaatan community, with your guide and a horse guide. The horse path is swampy, so it might take a long day of riding. But the stunning views of the Taiga region will make the journey worth the effort. After a long day of riding, we will reach the Tsaatan tribe, where you will spend the night in a tent.

Days 6-7. Reindeer Herders Family

For the next two days, you will be able to stay with the Tsaatan community and experience their unique way of life up close. The Tsaatan people live in a yurt, herd reindeer, and rely on hunting as their primary source of income. You will be amazed by their way of life and the beautiful scenery around you. You will spend the night in a tent.

Day 8. Taiga edge

Today we will leave the Tsaatan community and head back to the family on the edge of the Taiga. We will spend the night in a tent.
