Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Upon your arrival at Chingis Khaan International Airport, our guide and driver will transfer you to your downtown hotel. After some rest, we’ll embark on a city tour, visiting Sukhbaatar Square, the National Historical Museum, Gandan Monastery, and Zaisan Hill. Dinner will be at a local restaurant.

Day 2. Ugii Lake via Hustai National Park, Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes, Kharkhorin
We journey to Hustai National Park to see the wild Przewalski’s horses, then visit the Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes, often called the “Mini Gobi”, stretching for nearly 180 kilometers. Here, you can enjoy riding a two-humped Bactrian camel. We then continue to Kharkhorin to explore the Erdene Zuu Monastery before heading to Ugii Lake, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets.

Day 3. Ugii Lake to Khovsgol Lake
Our journey takes us to Khovsgol Lake via Moron City. In Moron, we’ll gather supplies essential for our upcoming horseback riding adventure in Mongolia. We then proceed to our ger camp near Khovsgol Lake for an overnight stay.

Days 4-6. Horse Trekking in Khovsgol Lake National Park
Over the next three days, we embark on a horseback riding trek through the Khovsgol Lake National Park in Mongolia. Our experienced team ensures your comfort, with a professional chef preparing delightful meals and a skilled guide leading the way. We’ll ride approximately 10-15 km daily, camping in tents each night. Highlights include riding along the crystal-clear shores of Khovsgol Lake, visiting the Khar Us mineral spring, and enjoying serene bonfires under the starlit sky.

Day 7. Summit of Chuchu Mountain

Day 8. Journey to the Selenge River in Khutag-Undur
We begin our return to Ulaanbaatar, stopping at a tourist camp in Khutag-Undur village near the Selenge River—the largest river in Mongolia, flowing into Lake Baikal. Here, you can relish the Selenge River’s picturesque valley and the ger camp’s cozy ambiance. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours.

Day 9. Visiting Horse-Herding Family and Return to Ulaanbaatar
Continuing our journey, we visit a horse-herding family in Bulgan to experience their traditional lifestyle and see how airag is made. After enjoying lunch with the family, we travel to Erdenet, Mongolia’s third-largest city, renowned for its copper mining industry. From Erdenet, we continue to Ulaanbaatar, check into our hotel, and take some time to rest. Later, we visit souvenir shops, attend a unique Mongolian National Art Concert, and enjoy dinner at a special Mongolian barbecue restaurant.
