Camel Festival

Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dune

These two festivals were created to boost winter tourism. They fall in February or March and are close together. The camel festival in Umnugobi province in southern Mongolia has been celebrated since 1997. In addition to a camel race, which is held over a distance of 15 kilometers, there will be a camel polo game and a camel parade.
