“Buman Tour” Accepts bookings subject to the following terms and conditions, which we ask you to read carefully before booking a tour with us.
1. Booking and Payments
To confirm your place on a tour, you must complete a booking form and provide a deposit of US $200 per person. We will send you confirmation of your booking upon receipt of your deposit along with information for payment of the balance. Please note that we do not accept bookings until we receive the deposit. The balance is due eight weeks before the departure date. If you are booking within eight weeks of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking. Failure to pay the balance by the due date will result in the booking being treated as canceled, and cancellation charges will apply. We do not accept responsibility for any funds sent by post. Payment can be made by bank transfer, international money transfer services, or VISA and MasterCard.
2. Cancellations
The deposit is non-refundable unless credited towards another trip departing within one to two years. If you cancel your booking after you have paid in full, the following cancellation charges will apply:
– between 43 and 59 days before departure: 20% of the tour cost
– between 29 and 42 days before departure: 30% of the tour cost
– between 15 and 28 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost
– 14 days or less before departure (or fail to join the tour): 100% of the tour cost
Please note that these dates refer to the date we received written notification of your cancellation. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself. While we have very rarely had to cancel a tour, we reserve the right to do so for any reason. If we cancel the tour, we will return all payments in full.
3. Prices
Our scheduled tour prices are based on a minimum of four people. If there are not enough people, we can run these tours privately at an extra cost of USD 100-300 per person, depending on the number of people and departures. There must be a minimum of two people for these private tours. The hotel charges for tours are based on twin rooms, with a single-room supplement available upon request. All extra charges and optional activities not mentioned in the tour itinerary must be paid by you.
4. Passports and Visas
Clients must ensure that they are aware of all relevant passport and visa requirements and that they allow adequate time to obtain them. You can obtain visas from the Mongolian embassy or consulate in your country using our tour confirmation letter after receiving the booking deposit. If there is no Mongolian embassy or consulate in your country, one-month-long visas can be obtained on the spot once you arrive at the airport or railway station in Ulaanbaatar. You will need an official confirmation letter from “Buman Tour” Company if you choose to do this.
5. Insurance
At “Buman Tour”, we believe that your safety and enjoyment are the most important things. Comprehensive travel insurance is essential when traveling abroad; therefore, we recommend that you arrange your travel insurance. Buy Simple and Flexible Travel Insurance from WorldNomads.com.
6. Your responsibilities
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you are aware of the inherent risks and hazards associated with our tours and agree to assume full responsibility for your actions and safety. You must comply with the authority of the tour guide, who is responsible for ensuring the group’s safety and welfare. Failure to do so may result in expulsion from the tour without any right to a refund or compensation. It is imperative that you inform us of any special requests, medical issues, or conditions at the time of booking. We cannot be held responsible for any incidents that could have been prevented with adequate disclosure of relevant information. You are responsible for your personal belongings and ensuring that you possess all the necessary passports and visas for the tour’s duration. Smoking is not allowed in any vehicle.
7. Our responsibilities
“Buman Tour” Company assumes responsibility only at the designated meeting point and time, which is when you meet the tour guide in Ulaanbaatar, the Mongolian capital. We cannot be held liable for any expenses or inconvenience incurred before that time or as a result of your failure to join the tour at the specified time. We are not responsible for any terrorist attacks, political unrest, war, earthquakes, landslides, airline or train cancellations or delays.
8. Itineraries and tour details
The itineraries provided serve as a general outline of what each group is expected to complete and are not binding contractual obligations. The nature of the tour requires a flexible approach to the stated itinerary. All participants must accept the flexibility and recognize that delays and alterations are possible, leading to inconvenience or disappointment. No compensation or refund will be provided for any unused transport, accommodation, services, or features of the tour. All tour details are accurate at the time of publication, and significant changes will be communicated during the booking process.
9. Complaints
If you encounter any problems or have any complaints about the tour, please inform the tour guide at the earliest opportunity. We will make every effort to rectify the situation or take appropriate action.
10. Legal term
All terms and conditions are subject to Mongolian law and must be enforced accordingly. If further action is required upon your return, we will work towards an agreed settlement, provided that you notify us in writing within 21 days of the tour’s completion date.
“Buman Tour” is recognized by the Mongolian Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
