Achit Lake is an awe-inspiring body of water that is nestled in the vast Mongolian Altai Mountains. This expansive lake is fed by the snow and glaciers that melt from the towering Siilhem Mountains and the Turgen Mountains. The lake covers a vast area of 311 square kilometers and stands tall at an elevation of 1464 meters above sea level.

This enchanting lake stretches for a distance of 30 km, with a width of 16 km and an average depth of 5 meters. The lake boasts of several terraces that are located at a certain distance from its shore, displaying signs of post-recession. This is a testament to the fact that Achit Lake was once an extensive lake, and its beauty is truly mesmerizing.
