On the route from Ulaanbaatar to Khusgul, you will encounter significant Mongolian cities like Darkhan and Erdenet. The major rivers in this region, including Orkhon, Selenge, Eg, Chuluuut, and Ider, are perfect for fishing trips, and the largest salmon species, /hucho/ Taimen, is abundant here.
